Crucial Limitations: Private and Expired Stories
We believe in absolute technical honesty with our users: our tool cannot download stories that have already expired past the 24-hour mark (unless saved by the creator into public Highlights). Once Instagram’s servers remove an expired story from the public feed, it is no longer accessible.
Furthermore, this tool cannot and will not access stories from private Instagram profiles or "Close Friends" lists. Only media visible to any anonymous web visitor can be processed.

To download a story, navigate to the active public story in your browser or app. Tap the three dots in the upper right corner or the share button, and select "Copy Link".

Viewing and Storing Stories Anonymously
Because our server requests public media streams independently without attaching personal user cookies, downloading a public story does not reveal your personal Instagram username in the creator’s story view statistics.
